New precision focuser
We use a worldclass APM 2.5" Rack and Pinion Focuser , 360° rotatable with brass compression ring for precise focus control. This focuser has a high loading capacity, can be locked and offers a 1:10 fine focusing mechanism.
The tube clamshell offers two bottom-tapped standard 1/4-20 inch holes along the tube line with center to center spacing of 35 mm (1.378"). This allows it to easily mount to either a photo tripod head or a stable mount rail.
