A new premium Apo from APM with an air spaced triplet lens with the centre element made from the highest quality FPL53 glass from Ohara in Japan. At only F6.5 this fine Apo will appeal to astro imagers and with this in mind the instrument has several features to enhance this.
The all new tube design is made from strong but lighweight aluminium to allow fast cooldown and the instrument is only 6kg with a transport length of just 575mm. The new dual speed Steeltrack crayford focuser is a full 3" version allowing a fully corrected wide field of view with the standard supplied 2.5" field flattener.

This high end Apo offers better corrections than virtually any other design on the market, colour correction is outstanding approaching that of the finest LZOS optic at a lower price. This Apo offers excellent optics and mechanics combined with portability and is supplied as standard with a dedicated field flattener, CNC rings and an aluminium case.
Each instrument is optically star tested in Germany prior to shipping and is guaranteed to exceed diffraction limited performance.
