For views of the brighter deep space objects like galaxies and nebulae, we recommend the larger aperture and light gathering ability of the Newtonian reflectors such as this 114mm instrument. This portable but powerful Telescope is very easy to setup and use with many features only found on higher priced models. The AstroMaster 114EQ also benefits from the equatorial mount which after a simple polar alignment greatly aids tracking of objects accurately in the night sky.
