Quantity:

An exceptional 102mm F7 triplet Apo with a 2" dielectric diagonal and an aluminium case designed for advanced imaging and visual applications. Combining premium triplet air spaced optics at a price point usually reserved for doublets the Meade 102mm excels in corrections not possible with lesser designs. This complete package includes a superb 2" dielectric diagonal with 99% reflectivity and compression ring adaptor for 1.25" eyepieces. Even the 8x50 finder is of the highest specification with an adjustable illuminated reticule and quick release bracket. The F7 tube assembly is finished in a taditional white high gloss with a removable dewshield for compact storage. A super smooth dual speed crayford focuser with a non marring compression ring ensures precise focussing for owners of this premium Apo. A pair of aluminium rings with a standard dovetail are included with a special carry handle which ingeneously doubles as a piggyback camera mount with it's machined slot. The carry case is equally impressive with a sturdy construction, die cut foam and lockable latches.

Japanese ED Optics: Using the finest Japanese FCD1 ED (Extremely Low Dispersion) glass. This glass is created to achieve a very small change in refractive index with different wavelengths of light. This makes it the perfect choice for a fast, high performance optical design like the 102 triplet.

Premium Multi coatings:
Broadband multicoated lenses ensure maximum light transmission.

True Triplet Apochromat: A true triplet optical design guarantees the textbook colour correction you expect from a premium APO.

Removable dewshield: An essential accessory built-in to the design for your convenience.

Individually Tested: Each premium 102mm triplet is tested optically and in Germany to ensure maximum performance.
