The Meade Series 4000 f/3.3 CCD Focal Reducer/ Field Flattener: Permits ultrafast CCD imaging, reduces CCD exposure times by up to 80%. Threads directly on to the rear cell of all Meade LX200 & LX90 telescopes. Converts f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrains to f/3.3 and f/6.3 SCT's to f/2. The reducer includes Meades variable T adaptor for achieving the correct distance between the chip and optics.
