Building on the success of the previous UWAs, the 1.25" Meade 5000 Series 58.8mm UWA eyepiece offers a huge 82° field of view and long eye relief, provided by high-quality exotic glass, arranged in a 7 element design. Internal blackened baffles and retractable external eyecup prevent stray light and reflections. This thoughtful advanced design leaves you to concentrate on the best views of both the solar system and deep space that Meade can provide. The Meade 5000 Series 5.5mm UWA WP Eyepiece is Parfocal with the rest of the range, meaning little or no focussing is required when swapping between other 5000 UWA WP eyepieces.
