An excellent quality Barlow lens with a useful 2.5x amplification making it ideal for visual and imaging use, constructed using a superb fully multi coated triplet optical system resulting in better corrections than simpler two element designs. Being a three element apochromatic design the optics also control false colour extremely well providing sharper views at higher powers. The CNC machined aluminium body itself also boasts high specification features such as a non marring compression ring that holds your eyepieces and adaptors accurately centered without marking them. With a standard 1.25" fitting this Barlow is suited to any telescope with a 1.25" focuser effectively doubling your eyepiece collection by offering more than twice the power with each eyepiece.
Barlows are also ideal for increasing magnification when imaging the Moon and Planets with webcams and Solar system imaging cameras.
