Scopos 66mm ED Chrome Tube Assembly

Simply add an erect image diagonal for fully corrected daytime views at a comfortable 45 degree angle.

Its superb mechanics leave absolutely nothing to be desired and with its ED element offers a near complete elimination of false colour for superb visual and photographical performance. The Scopos ED APO 66 doubles as an extremely compact and supremely powerful spotting scope for demanding nature observers. You can use magnifications between 15x and an enormous 200x depending on your specific observing needs.


Astronomical use - the extremely well corrected ED APO lens offers impressive image quality for astronomical observing. Image definition and sharpness are superb and false colour will only be found if you actively search for it and will not have any negative influence on observing. The Scopos ED APO 66 is perfectly suited as a travel scope for observing the planets and the moon as well as for rich field observing.

Astro imaging use - the Scopos ED APO 66 doubles as a very well corrected Tele Lens with a focal length of 400mm. Images taken through this telescope are sharp and clear and illumination is sufficient even for the 35mm film format with only marginal vignetting in the outer edges. The Digital SLR format is 100% illuminated. Focusing is very easy due to the excellent dual speed 1:10 microfocuser. A standard SCT thread means simple attachment of most modern digital SLR cameras is straightforward.
