This adaptor plate allows use of spotting scopes, cameras and accessories with a standard photo tripod thread (1/4ww) with the SkyWatcher AZ3 Tripod. The adaptor plate fixes directly to the two holes on the top plate of the AZ3, the 1/4ww thread has a lock ring so spotters and cameras can be attached and detached without tools.
