This motor drive kit for SkyWatcher EQ5 mounts allows accurate tracking of objects in the night sky making visual observations far easier at high magnifications. In addition to this a major benefit of the drive kit is the capability to add a camera to your telescope for taking longer exposures for deep sky imaging. This kit comprises all you need to add motors to both the axis of your EQ5 mount, the handset has four directional buttons as well as various speed options for accurate object centering.
Can be fitted to any of our telescopes supplied with the EQ5 equatorial mount. Provides multi-speed (1x/2x/8x) motor tracking of the R.A. & DEC. axes. Battery-powered.
