A premium quality zoom eyepiece with superior construction providing an extra flat wide field of view and crisp, clear distortion-free images. Features a continuous focal length of 7.5mm to 22.5mm and a corresponding wide apparent field of view of 66°-42° - far exceeding that of normal zoom eyepieces. For convenience, focal length positions of 7.5, 12, 17 & 22.5mm are engraved on the eyepiece barrel but continous adjustment is of course standard. The zoom is super-smooth to operate and a pleasure to use and with these features this maybe the only eyepiece you ever need. The generous eye relief varies from 18mm-19.5mm again beyond what competing zoom eyepieces can offer.
Constructed with 8 lens elements in 5 separate groups the design allows for superb corrections at all magnifications whether observing planets at high power or clusters at low power. This exotic eyepiece model features a large eye-lens element and soft twist-up rubber eyecup for comfortable viewing. Fully broadband multi-coatings, blackened lens edges and internal baffling ensure contrast is superb and stray light is completely controlled. Beautifully finished in high-gloss anodized aluminium with knurled rubber grips and threaded to accept standard 1.25" filters. Weight approx 250g.
