The Telrad is the original best selling red dot finderscope that with its clever detachable universal base suits virtually any type of telescope. With a large easy to see screen with illuminated red circles this is simple to use yet extremely accurate and has long been the finder of choice for Dobsonian owners who require simplicity, functionality and accuracy in the field. This highly regarded telescope accessory is ready to attach with the universal supplied base plate via screw holes or the included sticky pads.
The Telrad projects three red rings spaced at 4, 2, and 1/2 degree in diameter. These rings are used to starhop to objects. If a galaxy is 8 degrees away from a star, you simply count two 4-degree circles.
