This high quality diagonal is designed to work with virtually any telescopes with an SCT thread such as the Celestron Evolution, CPC and all SCT's from 6" to 14" as well as Meade LS, LX90 and LX200 ranges. This diagonal will then allow the use of 2" wide angle eyepieces for increased fields of view in addition to the benefits of far higher light transmission over standard diagonals. The high quality Quartz mirror is superior to ordinary substrates and is thermally more stable.

The multi-layer dielectric coatings are so incredibly reflective, it's difficult to see the actual mirror surface when looking into a newly purchased diagonal. Dielectric coatings are more durable than aluminium ones because they do not oxidise, and are extremely scratch resistant, therefore easier to clean.

Designed with an internal blackened thread to stop stray light reflection, increasing image contrast. A precision machined low profile 1.25 to 2" eyepiece adapter with brass compression ring is also included, which will not mar your eyepiece barrels. The low profile adapter has a corresponding slot machined into the diagonal body to lower it even further. This achieves as much infocus possible for Cassegrain users who would like the focal length of their telescope to stay as close to design parameters as possible.

The Diagonal comes with a durable hard presentation box with protective foam insert, and two plastic end caps.
