Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Meastro, Switch and PayPal. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone on 01322 403407, or post a cheque. We can only accept UK registered cards and require the registered cardholder address in order to process your payment.
If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us as soon as possible and we will correct the mistake.
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. Shipping And Handling
Our standard delivery charge for most of the UK is £2.95. All orders are shipped promptly, lower value items are sent Royal Mail 1st class and higher value or larger goods are shipped via reputable courier. All goods are shipped fully insured, please note we can only ship to UK mainland addresses.

system (see very top of each page for the icon and link) updates the order status in real time for you - simply by entering your order number and postcode..
We hold stock, dozens of telescopes and literally thousands of accessories that we ship out each business day, normally orders received before lunch are shipped that business day. We also direct ship from our UK suppliers, this means we have access to thousands of products that can ship fast to our customers.
Deliveries to UK mainland addresses are all shipped with fully insured premium services for £2.95, *some exceptions apply including many AB, FK, HS, IV, KA, KW, PA, PH, ZE postcodes. We will quote delivery charges to these areas where applicable prior to shipping (this does not normally affect lower value items shipped by Royal Mail).
You must inform us within one working day if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please ensure all address details are accurate, we cannot be responsible for failed deliveries or losses arising from incorrect delivery addresses.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
If your product is sent by Courier they will attempt delivery twice. If they are unable to deliver because you are not available and if after 5 days because you have not contacted them to re-arrange, the goods will be returned to us and the return delivery costs may be charged to you
If your item is not in stock, we will offer to back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. Backordered items remain uncharged until the day of shipping.
For orders made from the UK 20.0% VAT is added. This excludes VAT exempt products such as Books.

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted with the latest secure technology. We are fully PCI compliant and the website is SSL certified.
We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our new products carry a full 12 Months manufacturers warranty and are genuine products supplied through authorized distributors. Please note all faulty goods are required to be inspected by us or the manufacturer prior to a replacement being authorised and shipped. Miscollimation of Binoculars must be reported within 7 days of receipt of goods. Warranty non transferable.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 14 days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery if applicable. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed. Any unwanted goods returned should be in unused saleable new condition including all original packing, instructions and any free gifts. Please note once opened software is not returnable unless faulty.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
