The Altair Astro Premium LRGB-CCD Filter is designed for imaging with Mono CCD or CMOS cameras. Aside from the high qualty Schott German glass and top quality coatings, these filters have some additional enhancements which make them ideal for your astro imaging application. Advanced UV/IR blocking give small star sizes even with refractor optics, and AR (Anti Reflection) coatings reduce halo effects and internal reflections for more pleasing star images. Red Green and Blue wavelengths are carefully matched with minimal overlap and a tight fit within the Luminance filter transmission range, as can be seen from the spectrum graph. This results in pure colours with maximum efficiency. Premium LRGB filter features: Batch-tested for consistency. High quality dichroic/dielectric coatings. Anti-Reflection coating to reduce star-halos - stackable. UV/IR block for imaging - star bloat reduction with refractors. Ultra-flat glass by Schott Germany.
