The Altair 2" premium diagonal with positive lock system grips 2" eyepieces and accessories securely with a light small rotation of the top knurled ring, keeping them precisely centred. This popular mechanism is definitely superior to any other clamping method with only minimum force required, reassuring design and quality ensures your expensive eyepieces are secure and accurately aligned to the optical path.The CNC machined body will hold extra heavy accessories without flexing, and the mirror features a premium 99% reflective dielectric coating for maximum light transmission and contrast.Ideal for refractors and large eyepieces or binoviewers, the positive lock has a very light action and only needs a small 20 degree rotation, letting you quickly replace accessories.
