The classic Bresser Messier long focus AR127-L Refractor on the sturdy EXOS 2 Mount is an excellent value 127mm (5-inch) traditional achromatic refractor - ideally suited for planetary observation. With creditable colour correction for its design, this scope will give the user fantastic high-power views of all the major planets and a wealth of detail on the Moon. Classic longer focal length refractors are renowned for the image quality they provide to the observer, combined with virtually zero maintenance the design is timeless. With the 8x50 straight through viewfinder, objects are easily found, and the telescope is supported by dual cradle rings bridged by a camera platform rail with also doubles as a carry handle. The telescope comes with an excellent 2" diagonal and a 26mm Super Plossl eyepiece giving a magnification of 48x. Also featured is a well-machined 2" eyepiece holder with step-down ring and integrated T2 thread for easy attachment of a DSLR with a suitable T-ring.

With ball-raced axes (RA / DEC) and worm gears for smooth and precise tracking and adjustable polar finder scope (polar illuminator available as additional extra) the Exos 2 German Mount is a great modular platform for both visual and photographic astronomy and although unmotorised in this configuration, can be upgraded to full dual axis control or computerised Goto control. Its stainless steel tripod features a braced accessory tray and integrated bubble level for precise setup.
