With the 1400mm focal length achieving planetary magnification is easy without having to resort to using short focal length uncomfortable eyepieces. With the dimensions of a spotting scope and the power and versatility of an a dedicated astronomical telescope this instrument is ideal as a first serious scope or a second portable quality travel scope. Includes full aperture Solar filter.
