The Bresser Messier MC-152 OTA is an excellent compact, yet high power 152mm / 6-inch Maksutov Cassegrain telescope, ideal for observation of the Moon and planets, but also delivering beautiful views of the major deep sky objects. The f/12.5 focal ratio and minimal central obstruction lead to razor sharp, high contrast images and the Hexfocus focuser arrangement is an extremely stable low profile rack and pinion system, which will not flex, no matter what oreintation you point the scope to in the sky. The clear aperture of the Hexfocus system is 65mm - a considerable improvement over many competing Maksutov designs.
