Bresser Quasar EQ-Refractor 80/900 Telescope Carbon Texture

Bresser Quasar EQ-Refractor 80/900 Telescope Carbon Texture

The telescope also comes with a Smartphone holder which mounts around the eyepiece and allows the user to film and take pictures of brighter astronomical targets and also share the view with friends and family. We recommed using a phone lanyard for safety and security when mounting your Smartphone in this manner.

The telescope is mounted on Bresser's refined and highly portable German EQ mount, with slow motion cables for smooth tracking of objects on their path through the sky. This is a significant upgrade from the standard AZ mounts that many beginner's telescopes come with. The mount is provided with an aluminium tripod with accessory tray.

Includes smartphone camera adapter - The Bresser Quasar EQ-Refractor 80/900 Telescope carbon texture is an excellent value advanced beginner's telescope, which will provide longevity and ease of use to any potential owner. The 80mm Achromatic Doublet objective lens delivers crisp, clear, contrast-laden images and its f/11.25 focal ratio helps to dramatically reduce the chromatic aberation (violet fringing around bright objects) inherent in this type of optical design. The Quasar comes with two eyepieces, a 4mm and 20mm 1,25" guage option giving 225x and 45x respectively. There is also a 3x Barlow lens supplied for use with the 20mm eyepiece to bring it up to 135x magnification (it's not recommended to use the 4mm with the Barlow).
