Designed to compensate for extra equipment weight on your Celestron Advanced VX Equatorial Mount, additional counterweights can also be used if upgrading your optical tube. This anodized counterweight is made for the 20mm Advanced VX counterweight shaft, and weighs 12 lb., or 5.4 kg. A sturdy knurled knob locks the counterweight safely in place.

This counterweight is designed for any telescope system that uses the Advanced VX Equatorial Mount. It can also be used on the Advanced CG-5 GT mount or any other mount that uses 20mm bore weights.

Our delivery charge is £5.95* fully insured. Orders received before 2PM normally ship that business day. We also ship direct from our suppliers all fully tracked and insured.

We use UPS, DPD, DHL, APC, DX Express, ParcelForce and Royal Mail, we do not use budget couriers, we only ship to UK mainland addresses and do not ship to forwarding agents or PO boxes.

10/10 compact 5kg counterweight needed an extra counterweight for my Celestron CGEM mount. This little darling did the trick. As described; this will fit on any mount that has a 20mm diameter counterweight shaft. A few days later, after ordering online, I had it sitting on my shaft. Harrisons were very helpful to.
