Just what I was looking for Having had difficulty in getting the telescope aligned correctly for the GoTo functions to work properly, I decided to get the StarSense. Really keen pricing and great service This has got to be the cheapest place on the web for this product. I searched Ebay and second hand were more expensive than here. Celestron StarSense Accessory for SkyWatcher Celestron StarSense Accessory for SkyWatcher My plan was to use this to try and get round the weather problem but speeding up my setting up. Fitting was quite straight forward but due to my location, aligning the telescope wasn’t. I had to go to the manual alignment, this actually was quite straight forward. Once aligned I set about centring the scope to the StarSense, picking Betelgeuse as it was in a clear field of view and bright. Hitting go to put Betelgeuse close to the edge of my field of view which was good for a first alignment in my book. Unfortunately it clouded over and I couldn’t do the second alignment required after centring the StarSense camera. All in all after my ever so brief play I’m quite impressed when it announced it had found one hundred stars in an area I could only see about 20! So far quite impressed especially since it is Celestron kit on a Skywatcher mount. (15/02/2019) Ian Paterson - Jarrow
Celestron Starsense for Skywatcher Telescope Mounts After switching to the Skywatcher Alt/Az EQ5 mount.I upgraded to this version and hoped all would be good and yes, it was. !t works the same as on a Celestron mount. I used it for a week at a dark sight in Alt/Az and equatorial mode and it was great for observing & imaging plus solar daytime work (20/06/2017) Derek Baxter - London
