There is simply no comparison with heaters which use thin audio cables and thin-film or "foil" heating elements, which are crimped to the wires, creating a failure point.

I have had bad experience with past due heater straps that have frustratingly left horrible visible black marks on my white TMB optical tubes. I had an absolute nightmare cleaning these marks off. However, Ed of Harrison telescope knowing my past problems, introduced me to The Dew Zapper Heater Tapes. Well, all I can say is, what a top quality product. Thank Ed! These Heater Tapes are well made, and have a generous length of moisture resistant leads that I’m please to say is massively beneficial for long focal telescopes. Also no more horrible black marks on my telescope tubes this for me just say quality. On a final note I’m please to say my new Dew Zapper Heater Tapes are now in full use connected up to my two Pegasus dew systems. (09/11/2018) James Howes - South East London
