Lovely binoculars. Very good binoculars. Lovely clear and bright images. The focus wheel is good but a little bit on the stiff side. Decent size case and comfortable strap. Star gazing here we come! A xmas gift for our grandson who is fascinated by the moon and the stars! We tried them tonight and we were not disappointed. The moon looked amazing, so much detail. Very Good As a retired mariner where 7 x 50 binoculars were the best for horizon scanning and for keeping an eye on deck cargo, these Helios Fieldmasters are excellent and remind me very much of my years at sea in the Merchant Navy. Exactly what we wanted Great product - the kids and I are delighted with what we can see with them. Excellent casual stargazing for the money These are a really great item, good value for money, easy to hold for extended viewing, decided on these instead of the 10x50s after advice from Harrisons. Superb value for money These bins are recommended for astronomy by the "Sky at Night". The optics are very good and they fit into the hand nicely. Very little chromatic aberration when observing moon. At a dark skies location I was able to pick out the M101 galaxy as a nebulosity quite easily.
