The 70 mm refractor is a classic rrefracting telescope and enables both the observation of the sky and also the terrestrial observation of objects or animals at large distances. The focal length of 900 mm provides a sharp image and very reasonable colour correction, suppressing the chromatic abberation found in many telescopes of this type very effectively. The telescope is particularly versatile and easy to use on the newly developed MPM mount.

MPM mount can be used both as an azimuth mount (for terrestrial observations) or as an equatorial mount (for celestial observations). It has geared manual slow motion controls on both axes, which makes tracking of objects simple. The MPM mount is extremely easy to use, compact and straightforward to transport.
