This 7mm version is a great choice for detailed planetary viewing with telescopes of 1500mm focal length or shorter, excellent build quality and comfort.These top quality ultra wide angle 1.25 inch eyepieces offer an incredible jaw-dropping viewing experience to rival some of the leading premium eyepieces on the market, but at an extremely competitive price. The huge 82 degree apparent field of view, superb field-edge correction and excellent contrast combine to provide a wonderfully immersive and memorable viewing experience. Work superbly in telescopes of all focal lengths. All models are constructed with 7 lens elements in 4 separate groups. These exotic eyepiece models feature large eye-lens elements and soft fold-down rubber eyecups for comfortable viewing. All models are fully broadband multi-coated, feature blackened lens edges, internal baffling and are parfocal. 12mm eye relief on all models. Beautifully finished in high-gloss anodized aluminium with knurled rubber grips. Threaded to accept standard 1.25 inch filters. Weight approx 170g.

Good solid construction This is my third OVL LENSE I am very satisfied with its performance a little disappointed that the eye cup is not retractable(that is why I have only given it 4 stars) but otherwise it is a great lense. (28/12/2020) ROSS - Somerset
Great eyepiece I have skywatcher evostar 90 refractor f10 , eyepiece is great well made not too heavy , feels fully metal build . Compare the market this eyepiece is bargain with 82 degree field of view. Day time I observed slight aberration around the edges , in general you can’t buy better eyepiece for 70£ (15/11/2020) Pawel - London
Wonderful eyepiece with really wide views. Used with my skymax 102mm to get fantastic crisp views of Jupiter and her moons in one single frame. The colour rendition on the planet is fabulous. Used in the daytime the magnification and clarity is astonishing. A great upgrade from my celestron Zoom eyepiece. Have now also bought the 16mm (27/07/2020) - Glossop
Quality product I was impressed with the build quality of the eyepiece, especially at this price, well made and looks good, in hindsight 7mm was not the right choice for my 127mm scope, I would have been better with a 9mm, so will purchase one soon. (17/05/2020) Paul - Newcastle Staffs
