Coming soon - Sky-Watcher STARGATE Dobsonians with their huge light gathering capabilities provide the ultimate WOW factor experience for aficionados of visual astronomy, delivering outstanding performance on both Planetary and Deep-Sky objects. The STARGATE-400P Synscan is the first in the series to feature the elegant and rigid all metal collapsible FlexTube truss tube design, which allows the OTA to be quickly retracted, making the telescope much more convenient to store and transport. The whole telescope can be assembled and ready for use in less than 30 minutes. The mount provides motorised operation in both Altitude and Azimuth axes, and can automatically slew the telescope to, and track over 42,900 night sky objects from the supplied Synscan handset's extensive computerised object database. Alternatively the telescope can be operated wirelessly with your smart device via its own built-in Wi-Fi using the free SynScan App for iOS or Android. Features Freedom-Find™ Dual-Encoder technology, which also allows the telescope to be moved manually in either axis without losing it's alignment or positional information, giving the user enormous convenience and flexibility during observing sessions. Simply push the telescope close to the object and let the computer do the rest of the work. With the telescope powered off and with the clutches loosened off, the telescope can also be used completely manually as a push-to telescope if desired, increasing its versatility.
