The Sky-Watcher Planetary eyepieces are ideal when high magnification is required for the observation of fine planetary and lunar detail. A great high power eyepiece for telescopes with focal lengths under 1500mm. Based on a modified Plossl design, these fully multi-coated eyepieces are constructed with five lens elements, and are characterised by their wide 58 degree field of view, low distortion, high contrast performance and comfortable operation, ideal for Lunar and Planetary observation with virtually any telescope design.Each model features fold down rubber eyecups and a generous 16mm eye relief for viewing comfort, making them suitable for spectacle wearers.Each model features the security of rubber grips and the eyepiece barrels are threaded for standard 1.25" filters. Secure top and botom dust caps are included to keep the optics clean.1.25 inch barrel

Good quality eyepiece that improved observations Having a large eye-ocular with corresponding good eye relief gives more comfortable viewing and represented a significant improvement on the telescope bundled eyepieces as well as the stock Plossl eyepiece capabilities.
