The very sturdy EQ5 Equatorial mount provides excellent precision and stability and a host of other useful features for the serious astronomer. The mount rests firmly on a large, adjustable stainless steel pipe tripod with accessory tray. Polar scope included
Supplied complete with a bubble level, latitude adjuster with micrometer scale and an azimuth polar-alignment adjuster. It also features engraved aluminium setting circles and manual slow motion tracking controls. An included polarscope is used for aiding in polar alignment. Optional single-axis and dual-axis D.C. motor drives can be installed for auto-tracking purposes.

Exceded my expectations Bought this as a replacement for an old eq2 I was using and it was great. Its so easy to set up and move into place. So I am now enjoying my telescope. The only downside for me is the weight. It's quite heavy for me but maybe not for others, but this keeps it very stable once in place. (21/08/2022) - Hamilton

Great quality and very sturdy A real step up in quality and sturdiness from my old cg4 mount handles my 7.9 kg 5 inch refractor easily . No more wobble when focusing and surprisingly easy to move about i thought it would be heavier. I would recommend this mount. . (08/08/2021) Morgan - Lancaster
Excellent value for money and a great company. This mount and tripod is solid and stable and is amazingly portable considering it's weight bearing capacity. I am looking forward to attaching the Evostar 150 Refractor to this when I get it and I can't wait to do the GOTO upgrade. Harrison's have a great deal and great service on this. Does what it says Not a lot to say really, this is a big, solid, well engineered telescope mount which easily handles the 120mm refractor I use it with. Assembly was simple and the mount is relatively easy to carry into the garden. Would suggest as a next step after beginner telescope packages. (06/07/2018) Matt - Wales
