SkyWatcher Explorer 130PS AZ-GTI Reflector Telescope

The largest aperture model in the range, the Sky-Watcher Explorer-130PS (AZ-GTi) is ideal for deep sky views whilst being very portable, it has been designed to be controlled vcia WiFi with your Smartphone or Tablet, using the free SynScan App for iOS or Android. The AZ-GTi mount, with built-in WiFi module, creates it’s very own Wi-Fi network, so the mount can be used without other WiFi or mobile networks. After following a simple alignment procedure, you are ready to explore the universe using the App’s intuitive touchscreen menu. Complete system with eyepieces, finder, mount and tripod.

WiFi GoTo & Freedom find
The AZ-GTi and SynScan App provides full computerised GO-TO control, allowing the telescope to be automatically slewed to any one of the objects in the App’s extensive database of 10,000+ celestial objects. Incorporates Sky-Watcher’s Freedom-Find™ patented Dual-Encoder Technology, which allows the telescope to be moved manually in either axis without the mount losing its positional information. This gives the user enormous freedom, convenience and flexibility during observational sessions.

Bright & Wide fields of view
With an extremely useful 130mm of light gathering aperture and a superb parabolic primary mirror, the Explorer-130PS is a highly capable all-rounder instrument for the observation of the Moon, bright planets, nebulae, galaxies and star clusters. With the 650mm focal length the ability for wider field views of larger objects is easier, more stars in the eyepiece field.

Great telescope with amazing "GoTo" facility Bought this as my first telescope after a lot of internet research. Have not been disappointed. Our delivery charge for most of the UK is £2.95. All orders are shipped promptly, lower value items are sent Royal Mail 1st class and higher value or larger goods are shipped via reputable courier. All goods are shipped fully insured with FEDEX, UPS, DPD, DHL and Royal Mail, we do not use budget courier services, we can only ship to UK mainland addresses and are not able to ship to forwarding agents or PO boxes.

We ship each business day, orders received before lunch are normally shipped that business day. We also direct ship from our UK suppliers, this means we have access to thousands of products that can ship fast to our customers.

Deliveries to UK mainland addresses are all shipped with fully insured premium services for £2.95, *some exceptions apply including many AB, FK, HS, IV, KA, KW, PA, PH, ZE postcodes. We will quote delivery charges to these areas where applicable prior to shipping (this does not normally affect lower value items shipped by Royal Mail).

You must inform us within one working day if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem.
