Radiant Aluminum Quartz (RAQ) Mirror CoatingPrimary mirror and secondary mirror with Radiant Aluminum Quartz (RAQ) coating providing up to 94% reflectivity with optimal durability and long term performance. All Sky-Watcher f/5 ('fast') Newtonian Reflectors and Dobsonian models feature High Quality Parabolic Primary Mirrors to eliminate spherical aberrations inherent in 'fast' focal length reflectors with spherical primary mirrors. The mirrors are parabolized to bring all the light rays to the same focal point to give sharp, constrasty images, which are full of detail. Good upgrade Having had a 4 inch Dobsonian for the past few years this is a major upgrade for me. I have been impressed by the quality of manufacture and the excellent optics for the price. The telescope was well packaged and easy to put together. I'm looking forward to clearer skies to put it through its paces! (05/03/2023) David - West Yorkshire
First class As a novice, I did a lot of research before buying the Skywatcher 150P EQ3-2. It was a couple of weeks before I was able to use it in anger due to the weather. It was easy to assemble for initial viewing, and I had good views of the moon, Jupiter, Saturn and Venus. I look forward to learning more. (09/12/2021) Trev - Plymouth, Devon
Excellent This is my first telescope, so Im learning how to use it in my backyard before I cart it off to a dark sky site. Ive had beautiful views of Jupiter with some faint surface detail. Saturn and rings, Pleiades, and now the Moon. Im very pleased I started with this model. (07/09/2019) Paul - Oxfordshire
WOW!!!!! I'm a complete novice, but always interested in the stars ect... after lots of research and asking silly questions, which Harrisons were extremely helpful with finally decided on this, and amazed at the views i was getting, easy to set up and use. Very good quality well worth the money (09/08/2019) Gary - Waltham Abbey
More than happy. Pardon the pun but I'm over the moon with it. Easy to assemble and use. Bought it for astrophotography and it does the job admirably. Ideal for anyone who's interested in astronomy/astrophotography. I have no hesitation in recommending it. (01/07/2019) -
