The 2 inch PanaView 5-element eyepieces, with their impressive high-contrast, panoramic views, are sure to be extremely popular for enthusiasts of low power, deep-sky observing. Suitable for any telescope with a 2 inch focuser.These exotic eyepiece models feature giant, oversized eye-lens elements, wide 70° fields of view, long eye-relief for spectacle wearers, and soft twist-up rubber eyecups for comfortable viewing. All models are fully broadband multi-coated, feature blackened lens edges and are parfocal. Beautifully finished in high-gloss anodized aluminium with knurled rubber grips. Threaded to accept standard 2” filters. Available in focal lengths of 26mm, 32mm & 38mm, with apparent fields of view of 70° and eye relief of 20mm, 24mm & 28mm respectively.
Absolute favourite eyepiece I bought this, together with the 26mm from the same range and what a delight they are for exploring deep sky starfields. good solid eyepiece I wanted a wide angle eyepiece to upgrade from the 25mm piece that came with telescope. This fits the bill nicely - well made eyepiece, the twist up eyepiece made viewing comfortable. Wide view makes finding targets much easier. Very pleased with the product. Excellent wide field view This was the first wide field of view eyepiece I bought and I am very happy with it. Nice crisp views and a very large AFOV with only a hint of distortion at the edge of the view. Makes viewing DSOs like M31 a whole new experience. The twist up eye cup is a great feature, very comfortable to use. (09/08/2019) -
