SkyWatcher’s SmartPhoto plus adaptor allows you to capture photos or video with your smartphone camera through the eyepiece of your telescope. Unlike many smartphone adaptors, the SmartPhoto adaptor is remarkably simple to use. The smartphone is first clamped securely in the protective foam-lined jaws of the adaptor, and by loosening the other clamping bolt, the smartphone camera can be easily centred over the eyepiece by moving the smartphone either backwards, forwards or pivoting sideways. The adaptor is secured to the eyepiece with two plastic screws.Eyepiece includedThe SmartPhoto+ model is supplied with a specially designed 20mm photo eyepiece.The basic adaptor is also compatible with Sky-Watchers Super-MA, Super Plossl and Ultrawide 1.25" eyepieces (with the rubber eyecup removed) as well as many standard 1.25" eyepieces of other brands with a diameter up to 34mm. Compatible with any smartphone with a width between 54-90mm

Photo eyepiece makes it a lot easier My son wanted this to take some images but it has another use in finding what you want rather than crouching down and looking into the eyepiece. Just stand back and adjust the telescope and use your phone as a viewfinder. Works well & easy clamp assembly Would definitely recommend this (10/08/2022) Paul Anderson - South Shields
