Control your SkyWatcher goto telescope or mount with a smartphone or tablet wirelessly with the SynScan wifi adapter module, simply plugs in to the handset port and uses the free SynScan App.

The SynScan WiFi Adaptor Module is compatible with all Sky-Watcher's Go-To telescopes and mounts allowing full alignment and control via an android smartphone or tablet. There is no need for internet access or wifi hotspots as the wifi adapter creates it's own wifi network. Either the SynScan App or SynScan PRO App, which are available as a free download from the Google Play or App Store.

Control your SkyWatcher goto telescope with a smartphone or tablet.
The WiFi adaptor module creates it’s own WiFi network, so the telescope or mount can be used anywhere, without any need for internet access or wifi hotspots. After connecting your device via the Synscan App and following a simple alignment procedure, you are ready to explore the universe using the App’s intuitive touchscreen menus. The App also speeds up alignment by selecting location sensor which automatically inputs your exact location directly to your telescope.

The SynScan Apps also support the SkySafari Plus/Pro mobile planetarium App for Android and iOS (Please note that iOS connectivity at time of writing is currently limited and two devices are required).

Both the SynScan App and SynScan Pro App now support ASCOM standard platform for slewing, GOTO and Pulse Guiding. The SkyWatcher ASCOM telescope driver can be downloaded free from www.skywatcher.com

Replaces the handset
The adapter plugs in to the handset socket of the mount, either with one of the two supplied cables or in some cases such as the EQ6 by using the original handset cable. Once fitted the standard handset is not used and should not be plugged in while using the wifi adapter.

Our delivery charge is £5.95* fully insured. Orders received before 2PM normally ship that business day. We also ship direct from our suppliers all fully tracked and insured.

We use UPS, DPD, DHL, APC, DX Express, ParcelForce and Royal Mail, we do not use budget couriers, we only ship to UK mainland addresses and do not ship to forwarding agents or PO boxes.

Our Order Lookup system (see link at the top and bottom of each page) updates the order status - simply enter your order number and postcode..

*Some exceptions apply with AB, FK, HS, IV, KA, KW, PA, PH, ZE postcodes. We will quote delivery charges if applicable prior to shipping (this does not normally affect lower value items shipped by Royal Mail).

10/10 Synscan Wifi Dongle solves the problem! My AzGTi mount was locked in Firmware Update mode. I could not resolve the problem unless I purchased the SynScan WiFi dongle. This worked a treat and now I am back to full control - in Equatorial mode - of my mount. Brilliant. The item was sent by Harrison Telescopes - immediately. Wonderful!
