Standard 1.25" adaptors use a thumbscrew which pushes the inserted accessory to one side when tightened. Not so with this clever adaptor. And wait, there’s more....Unscrew the knurled locking ring to expose a male T-thread on the lower black barrel, which conveniently functions as a 2" prime focus (2" to T thread) adaptor by itself. So you’re actually getting two adaptors for the price of one!

Doubles as a precision 2" T adaptor with male T thread for camera T rings (see below)

  OVL Twist Lock Adaptor  This adapter is a step up from a standard 2" to 1.25" adaptor. It doesn't mark the eyepieces and if you use a reticle eyepiece for alignment it will hold it secure and straight even if you take it out and back in. It's not as heavy duty as the Baader version but it is a lot cheaper.  (15/03/2021) Derek Baxter - London

  Hidden benefits   As well as perfectly centering 1.25" eyepieces and being threaded for 2" filters because of it's low profile I was able to focus my DSLR in my Newtonian which I couldn't with the standard nose pieces .
