  works just as I had hoped  My skywatcher EQ6 mount is fussy about the voltage it gets; my usual lead-acid battery wasn't satisfying demand, leading to erratic performance and poor tracking.   Simple, effective and needs no attention  I researched several power supplies for the EQ6R Pro. Some were bulky, some looked good but not up to a cold dewy night in winter, some had meters, knobs and looked fancy. This one is plug and go and just does what it says on the tin.   Unlimited Power   When you are out in your backyard, slewing (for alignment, observing deepsky objects etc) and your battery run's out of power very quickly.   Good power suply with car type socket.  This power supply allows me to connect the AZ-EQ5 using the power cable supplied with the mount.   A simple universal solution   Problem: power lead required but with different manufacturers of telescope mounts with slightly different plugs - which one to choose?
