Lunt Solar Systems does everything possible to match the quality of each optical component in their systems for maximum performance. This eyepiece set, comprising 8mm, 12mm, 16mm, 19mm, and 27mm focal lengths are coated with the same anti-reflective coatings that are found on Lunt's Solar scope etalons. This anti-reflective coatings greatly reduces ghosting and scatter and provides a darker observing background and subsequent higher contrast.

The 8mm, 12mm, 16mm eyepieces provide a 60 degree filed of view and eye relief values ranging from 10mm. The 19mm eyepiece provides a 65 degrees field of view and 12mm eye relief, while the 27mm has 58 degrees apparent field and an eye relief measurement of 18mm! All consituent members of the Lunt H-alpha optimized Eyepiece Set have a height adjustable eyeguard to protect your eye against annoying daylight reflections and to help you to find the perfect eye position.
Given their optimization in the red end of the spectrum, Lunt H-alpha optimized Eyepiece Set eyepieces will also work very well for night time observing tool
